  Durante la restauración de una pintura de Simón Bolívar hecha en el S.XIX, Isabel descubre un nuevo rostro. La investigación se ve interrumpida por el accidente de Gabriel -padre de su hija- quién está en un hospital rural. No tenía noticias desde que las abandonó por buscar esmeraldas en las montañas. Impulsada por viejos fantasmas va al hospital y descubre lo peor -o lo mejor-, Gabriel tiene un tumor en la cabeza. Esta fragilidad los pone en una nueva etapa: la muerte vendrá y tendrán que comprender por qué sintieron -o sienten- ese indescifrable amor.

During the restoration of a 19th-century painting of Simón Bolívar, Isabel discovers a new face. Her investigation is interrupted by the accident of Gabriel—the father of her daughter—who is in a rural hospital. She hadn’t heard from him since he abandoned them to search for emeralds in the mountains. Driven by old ghosts, she goes to the hospital and discovers the worst—or perhaps the best—Gabriel has a tumor in his brain. This fragility places them in a new stage: death will come, and they will have to understand why they once felt—or still feel—that indecipherable love.
